高解像度コンソール / 2013-04-22 (月)

以前トライしていたフレームバッファコンソール(fbcon)によるコンソールの高解像度化。

fbconとuvesafbの合わせ技でできる事がわかったので、おさらいしておく。まずは

$ sudo apt-get install v86d

してから、 /etc/initramfs-tools/modulesに

List of modules that you want to include in your initramfs.
#
# Syntax: module_name [args ...]
#
# You must run update-initramfs(8) to effect this change.
#
# Examples:
#
# raid1
# sd_mod
r8168
uvesafb
fbcon

/etc/modprobe.d/uvesafb.confには

options uvesafb mode_option=1600x1200-16

と書いて、

$ sudo update-initramfs -u

続いて、/etc/default/grubに
